Monday 7th February - Heaven

Sorry about yesterday's post it was written in enough time I just forgot to publish it. Today has been a mixed day. We had another slow morning and were able to have breakfast and lunch with Anne's family which was really nice. We then headed back up to Liverpool and have generally sorted the house out. I am feeling tired though and nauseous. I am also worried about the hospital appointment we have tomorrow, as I am about most. I just need rest and to stop for tonight.

Revelation 21v4 says 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.' I know whatever happens God has us and He will sustain us. He gives us the promise of heaven and what a place it will be! We will be worshipping the Lord and will be able to live without the burden of the sin of this world. Praise the Lord His promises are true and we will be in eternity.

Verse for the day: Revelation 21 v 4

Prayer for the day: Please pray for physical upholding from the Lord and for my body to recover with rest tonight. Pray the hospital meeting tomorrow goes well and the Lord is in the midst of it. Pray for the overall process and for the removal of the cancer by the Lord's mighty hand. Pray for our families and their upholding and sustaining by the Lord.

  1. I have picked up this and Sunday's blogs early in Tuesday morning (just waking up and preparing for swim training!). So sorry to hear that you've had a couple of difficult days physically and mentally. These are, of course, perfectly natural and to be expected. But that doesn't make them any easier for you, Anne or any of us who love you. So I am praying for you all especially today. Please Lord, give Glen physical and spiritual strength. May news and further information from the hospital today be clear, detailed and positive. Thank you, Father.
